ABOUT THE TOPIC 

What is Burnout? Burnout is defined as physical or mental collapsed caused by overwork or stress. Everyone has experienced fatigue at one time or another. But fatigue keeps you away from motivation, efficiency, emotions, positive thinking, … and could be burnout This workshop will present you the best ways to identify the early warning signs of burnout and give you simple practices you can put in place to prevent burnout. We will explore how your mental fatigue is closely linked to yours physical fatigue and vice-versa. You can send your questions to the expert before the workshop. She’ll try to answer the best as she can, anonymously.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER 

Barbara Meyer is a former athlete. She worked in crisis communication for years. Then, she ran back to the university to study physical and mental preparation. She wanted to understand how athletes could manage stress and pressure while businessman and businesswomen couldn’t. She coached more than 100 women and published 4 books (Ed.Eyrolles).

One of her books is dedicated to women: “stop to be overflowing”. She’s also columnist since 8 years for the website www.femininbio.fr and she’s a speaker on work/life harmony and burn-out.
